HRADČANSKÁ, PRAGUE
Complete renovation of an old corner apartment in Prague 6.
The studio embraced the modifications generously and the layout underwent fundamental changes. The kitchen was moved to a large living room, which was created by connecting two original rooms. This intervention required more extensive static work. Now the apartment is designed as a 4kk with two bathrooms. Both bathrooms are accessible through joinery elements and are therefore hidden from the eyes of visitors. In the bedroom, there is a built-in wardrobe for the entire width of the room, through which it is possible to enter the bathroom and dressing room. The second bathroom is located behind the closet by the main entrance. The remaining part of the cabinet accommodated the condensing boiler and technical facilities. The apartment is bathed in light colors, dominated by a combination of white, gray and oak wood decor. On the floor, we designed and installed a wooden floor laid in a parquet pattern. An interesting element is the dark blue lacquered oak veneer. The dominant lights are brass as a reference to the history of the space and the object.
